Gilmore Camp

Join rising 7th-8th graders as they learn what life was like for a newly emancipated family at the Gilmore Farm. Daily activities will include farm chores, cooking, crafts, and music. -
Archaeology Field School

Watch archaeologists and students uncover the slave quarters in the "South Yard" of the Montpelier mansion. -
Orange County Fair

Join local farmers, craftsmen, cooks, and gardeners for an annual celebration of rural life in the Virginia Piedmont. Sponsored by Orange County Fair and 4-H Club. -
Restoration Celebration
September 17, 2008, Constitution Day
Join us on Constitution Day at 11:00 a.m. for a celebration of the completion of the architectural restoration. Chief Justice John Roberts, Jim Lehrer, other dignitaries, a living flag, musicians, and food vendors will help us celebrate this milestone.
